West Fork Fall Adventure Elopement / Styled Shoot / Sedona, AZ / Mary + Jed

This styled Elopement was inspired by the rich, vibrant yet moody colors that come with the change of season. The color pallet inspiration was Plum, burnt orange, burgundy with pops of gold. Here, in Arizona, the colors aren't everywhere and as easy to come by. Up north we have little hidden gems of enchanting feels and colors. I wanted to portray the mood of change through the feel of colors. We went for a romantic and enchanting theme with non-traditional looks. The model's Mary and Jed are a real couple with more of an edgy look I was envisioning. I worked alongside Lindsay for hair and makeup. We decided a rich, warm smokey eye would make her blue eyes pop. We kept the hair wispy with loose lived-in curls, topped off with the perfect handmade, rose gold headpiece and matching earrings by Enze Bridal to create a beautiful fairy look.
The invitation suite by Foil and ink really brought the vision of the day in detail. The watercolor splash of plum, burgundy, and gold foiling depicting the perfect enchanting, love-filled evening of colors.
First, we started at a trail called West Fork in Sedona's Oak Creek Canyon; covered in colors and a beautiful, marbled canyon backdrop. Mary wore a white lace, bell sleeve top from A.Peach complete with a dark plum purple chiffon skirt from Dress Beautiful on Etsy, for a non-traditional look. Jed's outfit was kept simple, dress clothes from his closet with a tie printed in burnt orange, and pops of burgundy floral from My Tie Shop on Etsy. The florals were beautifully crafted from Jana at Sedona Mountain High Flowers, a dark organic and loose style bouquet with vibrant colors and about to perfectly coordinate with Jed's tie.

The second venue continued at the little Arts and Craft Village, Tlaquepaque in Sedona. This was envisioned as an intimate evening of celebration with fairy lights and music. I wanted to continue on and branch out to embody the feel and intimacy of elopements. Keeping it non-traditional and moody with warm lighting. Mary changed into a dark plum, lace cocktail dress by Patti Boutik adorned with a beautiful vintage lantern bouquet by Jana. Jed added to his look by bringing along his guitar. We ended the night dancing under the lights.
